Downtown 2BR Condo w/Parking •Walk to FIFA stadium

2 major issues; The property was advertised for 4 adults but the 2nd bedroom had a bed with a 'mattress' a mere 3"thick, the kind used for sleeping children NOT 2 adults. Needless to say this bed was very uncomfortable, making sleep very difficult, the discomfort being compounded by the second major issue.The apartment was bright with alot of sunlight streaming in. However there was no built in AC. The proprietor had two mobile AC units in the apt but inorder to use them one had to vent the exhaust to the outside via an open window. But keeping the window open meant that the noise level from the 40yr old Skytrain that runs below until 2am in the morning is deafening and really irritating. Shutting the windows with AC off and turning on the floor fans did NOT help lower the temperature as it only circulated warm air. This made sleeping very very difficult if not impossible making for a very stressful stay.On the plus side apt was well equipped and well appointed. As far as location is concerned despite being in the neighbourhood of the homeless it was easy to access downtown and next door to China townOverall it was not the most comfortable stay.

I’ll start with the good. The apartment has a beautiful view. Now for the rest…the bed in one of the rooms is very uncomfortable. The mattress is about 4 inches thick. The shower curtains are both mildewed and nasty. Communication was not good. I emailed twice with no reply…one time was to inform them that the front door wasn’t locking following their instructions…no reply. The parking situation leaves much to be desired and at the least should come with clearer directions. We left a box of cookies on the counter and found ants in it.

We had everything we needed for a family of five.

Nice little place, small bed in one of the rooms. Heater was broken, missing blinds on the balcony slide. Broken AC hose. Unit gets really hot if you don't close all the blinds/shades. Major issue is getting into the parking space, really tight squeeze, have to press key fob when entering and exiting garage. Upon arrival got a ticket for parking on the street to retrieve garage keys from unit. Overall location is very convenient, lots of places within walking distance.

Needs a whole lot of TLC. Burned out light bulbs in bathroom & over counter in kitchen - really? Hose for portable A/C unit busted so had to duct tape it together to be able to use A/C. Unit is super hot on a sunny day. No blinds on south facing windows & patio door just add to heat problem. 2 bedroom bed is NOT a full sized mattress it is a futon mattress.
